FRIDAY 13 March 2020
Dear Parents

You might have heard that we have cancelled the Pre-Prep Fun Sports event. This was a precautionary measure, a decision based on medical advice.

We are in unchartered territory and, if the scenario changes, we will be in communication with you immediately. As per the Principal’s letter of Tuesday, we are focusing on prevention, ensuring that boys stay calm and that school continues as normally as possible.

Kind regards

Squash Next term

Squash is offered to all boys in Grades 4-7. They practise once a week Monday to Thursday 2:30pm-3:45pm at our College courts. The top 16 players overall qualify to play league matches on Fridays from 1:30pm-3:00pm. These fixtures are on the calendar. The better players trying to get into the 4 league teams practise either on a Tuesday or Wednesday and the social players practise on a Monday or a Thursday. There will also be ‘promotion/relegation’ between the practice days. All players need to play with protective goggles and non-marking squash shoes.

Bishops Carnival 2020 - What a success!

A massive THANK YOU on behalf of the PA to our amazing Bishops families and wider community for your incredible support at our recent carnival. Without your generous contributions this simply would not be possible. Thanks too for the many hours of hard work that went into it….we could not have done it without you.

The Grade 6 parents would like to thank all sponsors for the generous prizes donated for their raffle. Congratulations to Clara Esposito who won the main prize of a 2 night stay for her family at the amazing Lekkerwater Beach Lodge and a special thank you to Natural Selection Safaris who donated this very generous prize!
