FRIDAY 18 October 2019
Dear Parents

This morning the staff entertained the boys by staging the modern fable, “Mr Hare meets Mr Mandela”, written by the late Chris van Wyk. It’s a simple but amusing story of the profound disadvantages of not being able to read. If you would like to read about it, here is a link.

Performing it today fits in very well with the opening of our new library space, which is hugely popular, this week’s book sale (thank you for supporting this) and today’s Civvies (dressing up as book characters) Day. The proceeds of this will go to the purchase of books for the St Paul’s and Athwood Primary schools.

If you wish to attend the opening of the Library on 29 October and have not yet RSVP’d, please do so HERE.

Best wishes

Kind regards

GREG BROWN

In the Shop there is a suggestions/complaints/compliments book – please feel welcome to use this for any feedback and encourage others to do so. It helps to know what issues need attention and if you’ve experienced good service, it gives the staff a boost. The Shop also runs a book with the names of anyone waiting for any item – if the pupil or parent’s name is not in this book, it is assumed there is no back-order; so please ensure that if there is ever anything you need that is not in stock, this must please be noted in the book.
