Dear Parents
We are slowly preparing for the commencement of building operations on 6 December. The upstairs floor in the Design & Technology Centre is being prepared for the computer lab move that will happen in about two weeks’ time. Sue Kieswetter is also very busy packing up the library – half the books will go into storage and the other available for a mini-lending library that she will operate for the first six months of next year. If you are able to assist Sue in the library please contact her on skieswetter@bishops.org.za. The last rooms to be stripped will be the five classrooms directly affected by building. These five classes, as with the library, will operate from different venues next year, mainly on the Rossall campus, but we hope to be using the new facilities by 1 August 2019 at the latest. We will ensure that you are informed of the temporary venues at the end of the year. We are entering an exciting phase but it is going to be a trying six months as with all renovations, however we will be doing everything in our power to ensure the normal operation of the school.
We are very busy with sports matches this weekend and next week so I wish all the teams much enjoyment and success.
Kind regards
GREG BROWN

Please contact Charmaine Cheminais as soon as possible if you would like to advertise. |
Flower Donations
There are still some gaps in our flower roster for the remainder of the term. If you are able to provide flowers to keep our school looking beautiful, please contact Kashiefa Kerven. All offers will be greatly appreciated!

Outreach
Last term we collected dog food for the Mdzananda Animal Clinic in Khayelitsha. As a result of the recent fire, many animals were injured and many left homeless or abandoned. If you have any old towels, bowls, etc that you no longer want, please send them to the library.
