Dear Parents

We trust that all families enjoyed a little break this past long weekend and those that were celebrating the Passover or Easter, did so happily and got to spend some special time with their families.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community in the clothing and warm goodies that were collected today.  What a blessing to know that these donations will be distributed to keep some very needy people warm and cosy during this coming winter.  Thank you so much to all that donated and those parents who kindly helped sort through these piles of goodies. We will update you as to where they were delivered, in the next newsletter.

Our best wishes to Ms Nureen Maged, our Aftercare Supervisor, who celebrated her birthday this last Thursday.

We would like to wish all our Muslim families well during the holy month of Ramadan. and trust that all our Jewish families and Christian families had wonderful Passover and Easter celebrations respectively.

Kind regards

HIGHLIGHTS
Civvies - Blankets and Old Clothing Donations
Thank you for your generous contributions. More photos to follow on distribution of these items.
Knitting Squares for Blankets
Thank you to those parents who are sewing our squares together to make small blankets. We have a table in the foyer of squares for you to choose from if you do not knit your own. Please feel free to drop off squares you have knitted or collect squares to sew into a blanket. 25 squares make a lovely sized little rug. I can assure you that these little blankets are always very welcome to our recipients. Some are donated to day care centres for when children sleep, or others as knee rugs to old age establishments. Mowbray maternity hospital are also very pleased to receive our little blankets to donate to mums who arrive and give birth but sadly have nothing to wrap their babies in.
