FRIDAY 10 June 2022
Dear Parents

SPORT

It has been good to see hockey matches played in such fine weather this week and we anticipate the same for rugby matches tomorrow with all fixtures being against Rondebosch, our traditional derby partners. Sport practices for the term end this coming Tuesday, 14 June.

GRADE 7 TOUR

Our Grade 7s leave for their KwaZulu-Natal Tour early on this Monday morning and they will be away for eight nights. The first four days are spent with two schools, one in Durban and the other in Pietermaritzburg. We will be playing a range of sports against them as well as chess matches, with every boy participating in some way in these inter-school activities. A special feature is our music boys who stage a concert at each school. This year, for the first time, their repertoire will include three ensembles, vocal, strings and band, involving close to half the grade which is a very exciting development. We wish our boys well as they undertake this tour.

With next week being only three school days, there will be no newsletter.

Enjoy the weekends.

Kind regards

GREG BROWN
