THURSDAY 18 April 2024
Dear Parents

I am very pleased to announce that three of our Grade 7 boys have been awarded Scholarships to the College for the next five years. Every boy who applies to the College writes the College Entrance Exams and approximately 250 do so every year. They write a Mathematics and an English paper, the results of which form the basis of the Subject and General Scholarship Awards. The Theron Scholarship is awarded to the top achiever across both examinations. There are also Music and Sports Scholarships and these are based on auditions in terms of the Music and proven talent and performance in the case of the Sport.

Theron Scholarship                    Evan West
English Scholarship                   Bonnar Richards
Mathematics Scholarship           Joshua Fried
Music Scholarship                     Evan West

This is the first time I have seen a boy win two Scholarships to College as in the case of Evan West this year. A remarkable achievement!

Congratulations to our boys on these fine achievements.

Kind regards

GREG BROWN

Spotlight on Drama

Last Friday talented boys from Grades 4-7 took part in our DRAMA SPOTLIGHT! The boys bravely performed dramatic prose, monologues and scenes that they had worked on in the first term. We also got to see short films that were made in the holidays at our film workshop. The boys performed confidently and were cheered on by the appreciative audience.
