THURSDAY 21 November 2024
Dear Parents

We are fast approaching the end of the year and from Monday, every day will be different from that of the normal timetable.

Extra-murals end on Saturday with our Interhouse cricket matches. School closes at 13h30 from Monday, unless you are informed otherwise by your Form teacher or the school.  After-care will be available from 13h30 Monday to Thursday and Friday, from 12h55.

CAROL SERVICES

Our Carol Services take place in the Memorial Chapel this Tuesday (26 November) as follows:

  • Bramley & Brooke 18h30 - 19h15
  • Charlton & VdB 19h45 - 20h30 (please note change of starting time)

Please note that all boys are expected to attend the service that is for their House. Dress for boys is No. 1s. Please do join us – the reason we split our Carol Service a few years ago is that we could not fit in every boy and his family – there is now sufficient space, so please bring the whole family. It is always a very special service and a good way to start the season of Advent.

GRADE 7 GARDEN ROUTE TOUR

The Grade 7s, having missed out on their KZN Tour in June, leave for a six day tour up the Garden Route on the 27th. We wish them a very happy time and safe travels.

MYBISHOPSLIFE

In light of the imminent release of marks and academic reports to your son’s profile, please could we ask that parents check their Prep MyBishopsLife access. Should you experience difficulty logging in, please email portal@bishops.org.za for assistance.

Parents of boys leaving Bishops Prep, please note, your son’s MyBishopsLife profile will be deleted on 17th December 2024. Please ensure you have downloaded and saved all academic reports, and any other information you wish to keep from your son’s profile, before this date.

TODAY

Hunter’s Memorial Service takes place this afternoon, which I know many of us will be attending. We hold Shirley, Barry and Finn in our thoughts and prayers as we celebrate Hunter’s life.

Kind regards

GREG BROWN
