BE THE CHANGE...GE…
We are proud that Bishops offers tremendous benefits and opportunities for its pupils. Here we are developing the next generation and the future leaders of this country. Sadly, affordability prevents the vast majority of South Africans from accessing these opportunities.
The Russell Adams Scholarship Fund has been established to help change this situation. It will give boys from previously disadvantaged areas (such as Russell's former school Heathfield Primary) access to a Bishops education. It will help create a new generation of South African leaders and contribute towards building a more economically inclusive society, drive entrepreneurship and create jobs. This is what South Africa desperately requires.
Despite growing up in apartheid South Africa, Russell Adams, a talented cricketer, was fortunate to have access to a Bishops education and sport environment. This enabled him to overcome various obstacles and build a stellar career in sports management and cricket administration leadership.
Please join us for the official launch of the Russell Adams Scholarship Fund to hear about its objectives.
